Itineraries

Day

Delhi Rly. Station / DEL Airport - Nainital (310 Kms / 8 hrs.)

On arrival at Delhi Rly. Station / Airport. Transfer to Nainital - is a popular hill station in the state of Uttarakhand and located alongside the foothills of the Kumaon region of the outer Himalayas. It is a glittering jewel in the Himalyan necklace, blessed with scenic natural splendour and varied natural resources. Often called the ‘Lake District of India’, this place is a popular tourist getaway, especially in the summer season. Arrive and check-in to your hotel. After relaxing for some time, proceed for the sightseeing tour, beginning with boating or shikara rides (on own) at the famous Naini Lake and a visit to the holy Naina Devi Temple. Overnight stay at Nainital.

Day 2

Nainital Lake Tour

After breakfast, proceed for Hanumangarh, a famous religious center and a beautiful picnic spot. Later, proceed on an exciting lake tour with three beautiful lakes - Bhimtal, Naukuchiatal and Sattal - situated at a distance of 5-8 kms from each other. These lakes are known for their scenic beauty and lovely surroundings. You can also enjoy boating here (On Own). On the way back to Nainital visit Fruit Market and Bhowali. In the evening, enjoy strolling on the Mall Road for shopping. Overnight stay at Nainital.

Nainital – Kausani via Almora (120 Kms / 4 hrs.)

After breakfast transfer to Kausani via Almora. Kausani is ideal for those who seek to escape from the din and dust, hustle and bustle of big cities and wish to spend a quiet holiday in the lap of nature. On arrival and check-in to your hotel. After fresh up visit Anasakti Ashram. Mahatma Gandhi stayed at the Anasakti ashram in the year 1929. After his vacation, the place is called as "Gandhi ashram". He was very impressed by the peaceful environment of the hills around. In this time period, he wrote a book noble Anasakti Yoga and Sunset on Himalayas from view point. Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at Kausani.

Day 6

Binsar Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, explore the Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary, situated in the lap of Kumaun Hills in Himalayas on the top of Jhandi Dhar, which is located 33 km north of Almora in Uttarakhand. The Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary is famous as the home of leopard, Black Himalayan Bear, Wild boars, Kakars, Monkeys Red Fox, and Jackals etc. It also has variety of Bird Species as approx.180 species of birds visit Binsar every year. In The evening back to the hotel. Rest of the day is free for leisure. Overnight stay at Binsar.

Day 7

Ranikhet (76 kms / 1 ½ hr)

After breakfast departs for Ranikhet you will drive through the forested and deodar covered slopes, past fast flowing mountain streams to the popular hill station of Ranikhet. Enroute visit Golf Course is one of the highest golf courses of Asia, located 5 kms from main Ranikhet City. On arrival check-in to your hotel. Enjoy the scenic views of Ranikhet. After some rest, visit Jhula Devi Temple and beautiful Chaubatia Gardens. Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at Ranikhet.

Day 8

Binsar – Corbett (235 kms / 7 hrs)

After breakfast transfer to Jim Corbett National Park is India’s first national park, situated in the foothills of the Himalayas; in the newly created state of Uttarakhand is haven for wildlife lovers in India. It's named for legendary tiger hunter Jim Corbett. On the way visit Jim Corbett House at Choti Haldwani, & Museum. Arrive and check-in to your resort/hotel. After fresh n up visit the Garjiya Temple. One of the most famous temples of the Nainital district visited by thousands of devotees. It is a sacred Shakti Shrine where Garjiya Devi is the presiding deity. Garjiya Devi Temple situated over a huge rock in the midst of river Kosi. Later in the afternoon visit beautiful water fall which is at 3 Km from Kaladhungi. This waterfall is small sight yet brilliant. Its height approximately 58 feet and it is in the drop back of the scenic greenish forest. You can take a nature bath in the fall. This zone is admired like a campsite with a great diversity of plants and the birds. This is a very pleasant place to visit. Spend the evening at leisure. Overnight stay at Corbett.

Day 9

Corbett - Delhi Rly. Station / Airport (296 kms / 8 hrs.)

After breakfast check-out from hotel and take the departure transfers to Delhi Rly. Station / Airport for your onward journey.
